What Holds Us Up

Jill Kyong

What holds a family together, supports them and connects them? What makes them commit to each other, to be there for each other, even when they’re tired? This piece was inspired by watching my family snorkeling together in deep water. They swam for hours with no life vests or floats, they just stuck together and watched out for each other.
