White Bloom
The quietest of Parvin's blooms and the most difficult to make. Working almost entirely in white and pale grey with the faintest sage tint, she gives herself no chromatic contrast to build form with — only density, edge and the lacing that fluid acrylic leaves as it settles. The blossom emerges from the ground rather than sitting on it. Hung where raking light can cross it, the surface relief does the work that colour does in the others.
