The digital illustration employs fine line work to model volumetric space within darkness. Ferron uses contrast to suggest embrace as physical phenomenon—bodies compressed by nocturnal density rather than romanticized by it.
Mixed media collage. Ferron builds a dark navy ground and cuts botanical forms in layers above it: orange and coral flowers at the composition’s base, pale pink circular blooms, white star-shaped blossoms, golden-yellow geometric heads throughout. Hard-edged — scissors and X-acto knives, not a brush. The shapes read like Rousseau’s jungle: each plant individual, specific, pressed into an impossible togetherness.
