A painting, and the only one Acott has here. Circular white forms float over a worked ground that runs from cobalt and teal at the top through oxblood and cadmium at the foot, the surface scraped back and rebuilt so earlier colour shows through the later. Where her sculpture is all silhouette and restraint, this is all incident. At seven hundred and fifty dollars it is also the least expensive way into her work.
