Magical Garden
I build the ground first — worn layers of gold, crimson, and deep teal worked into the surface through brushwork, scraping, and the slow accretion of time, the way a Parisian wall collects generations of its own history. Then, at the center, I place that one unexpected note: a clean turquoise field where dark butterfly silhouettes move through clear, modern air. Mixed media on canvas · 12 × 12 × 2 in · 2025
