I work into worn, layered surfaces — the kind that feel as though many hands have touched them across generations — and then I interrupt that quiet decay with something bold and unexpected. Here, cascading blossoms drift from bare branches toward a small archway, while a pale moon floats above a deep teal ground flanked by rose-gray and crimson panels. Worn surfaces and distressed textures carry the familiar, then a rich swath of color pulls everything into the modern and unexpected — gentle old meets dynamic new.
