The most stripped painting she has here. A dark storm-grey sky occupies the top half, a pale band of light runs across the middle, a small red sun hangs left of centre, and a grey house sits low on the right. Below, a thin dark ground with a single streak of red. There is no dabbed field, no crescent, no scatter of lights — Sivek has removed everything she usually relies on and made the picture work on placement alone. The sun and the house are the only two objects and they are as far apart as the canvas allows.
