The Wind Cries
Mixed media collage — two panels. Topographic maps and weathered papers form the base; translucent tan and cream-colored ribbons undulate across the surface. Cerulean blue dots punctuate the lower left; raw umber, ochre, and cadmium yellow dominate the earth-toned palette. The ribbon forms — cut from paper, not painted — read as both wind and contour line. Exhibited at Washington State Convention Center and Seattle City Hall.
