I build these surfaces the way time itself builds — worn textures and distressed layers that feel soft and familiar, like something that has evolved over many generations. Here, two Chinoiserie lovebirds meet at the center, held within a muted gold-and-gray ground, while a deep crimson field sweeps in as that bold, modern, unexpected note — the dynamic new interrupting the gentle old.
