A garden viewed from an elevated angle — dark navy and olive stems ascend vertically; white star-shaped flowers open throughout; spherical forms in periwinkle blue and cream read as seed heads. Ferron flattens the perspective deliberately: influenced by Rousseau’s insistence on the picture plane over depth illusion. The silver light in the title is a temperature, not a brightness.
