Under A Silver Sun
A field of white and cream seed heads and umbels stands against a soft grey ground, with a pale sun disc at the upper right and fine drawn rings around it. Forty inches tall by thirty wide. Almost monochrome — this is Ferron working with value alone, and the picture depends entirely on how many distinct whites she can cut and layer without the shapes dissolving into each other. The paper edges are what keep them separate.
