A figure with one arm raised and the body twisting slightly at the waist, worked in a warm gold patina that lightens toward the extremities. Sixteen and a half inches. The turn is subtle and it is the only movement in the piece; everything else stands. Acott's smaller works carry the same proportions as her large ones, which means the ankles at this size are close to the limit of what bronze will do.
