Offering Hope

Lorri Acott

Two figures stand facing one another, one extending both hands toward the other, over three feet tall and sited outdoors. It is the largest and most expensive work Acott has here, and the only one at a scale where the viewer stands among the figures rather than above them. The gesture is unresolved: the offering is made and we do not see it taken. Sold.
