After Burn
A wall piece built from dozens of forged vertical elements hung close together in a shallow field, each one a separate drawn-out length of steel, with small points of gold set among them. The gold is sparse and placed low. Cristalli says she is inspired by working at the forge itself, and this piece is about what the fire leaves behind — the title names the moment after, and the gold reads as heat still held in the metal.
