Forged steel, 16 inches in diameter — a circular form where the hammer marks trace the process of something becoming itself. The round format refuses a fixed orientation; the piece works in any direction, suggesting both end and origin simultaneously. Cristalli forges iron at working temperature — the material holds the gesture of the hammer and refuses to give it back.
