Mixed media collage. Ferron builds celestial imagery from layered paper and acrylic — her MapScapes materials applied to night subject matter. The horizontal format is consistent with her Salish Sea Dreams and nocturnal series. Hard-edged cut forms rather than painterly marks; the quilter’s geometry applied to moonlight. Lopez Island, WA studio. Exhibited at Whatcom Museum and Cascadia Art Museum.
